Concord, MA

These past couple of weeks have been great. Jeff doesn't start work until October, so we've had time to get settled into our new place and also do some exploring. Today we went to Concord. What a lovely historic town! Especially pretty this time of year.

I love the caption on the church sign.

Cute buildings and tiny pumpkins!

We walked up to Sleepy Hollow Cemetery (just a few blocks from the center of town) to see Author's Ridge where a number of famous author's are buried.

Ralph Waldo Emerson grave site.

Daniel Chester French grave site.

The famous sculptor who designed the minuteman statue at the Old North Bridge (see below), and the Lincoln memorial in D.C.

Such a beautiful place!
