Happy Halloween

It's October 31st and it was great waking up this morning and realizing that Game 6 really happened last night and the Red Sox are the 2013 world series champions! What a great treat for Red Sox Nation on this Halloween. We weren't sure if we were going to dress up for Halloween this year because neither of us would get home from work very early tonight, and it's a week night so we're probably not going out partying (never say never though). But we did still get into the spirit of the holiday while supporting our favorite team at the same time.
Red Sox Fans costumes!

I got this crazy idea to make our own Red Sox beards, since that's been a hallmark of the mlb season this year and it seemed like a simple yet fun way to fulfill my fetish of dressing up in October. But Jeff had the car and I couldn't find a way to get myself to a fabric store without riding a bus for 2+ hours. When Jeff got home from work he agreed to go with me to the nearest Jo-Ann Fabric to pick up our costume supplies. We found some brown fleece and fabric glue, and returned home to make some sweet beards.

We may have gone a little crazy with the picture taking, but it was all in good fun. I'm pretty sure the beards turned out to be good luck too! We wore them during the world series and the Red Sox won! We might just don them again tonight if we hand out candy.

What are you dressing up as this All Hallow's Eve?
