Victory Parade

We were lucky enough to attend the World Series Victory Parade this year! The city of Boston decided to hold the parade on a saturday which meant we were both able to go. We woke up early and headed into the city to find a spot along the river. We were sitting at the end of the parade route where the team rides the duck boats into the Charles River. We were ten feet from the Red Sox players! It was pretty cool.

Waiting for the parade to start. We were some of the first people to claim a spot by the River. Sweet hat, Jeff.

There were fans lined up on the other side of the river and all along the bridge waiting to see the Red Sox.

Serious security at the parade.
Duck Boats!

Don't you think this picture belongs on the cover of Sports Illustrated? Nice photography Jeff.
It was pretty cool to be part of something like this in a city that loves its sports teams so much. We had a nice time talking with all the people around us. It was an incredibly nice day so that made it even better!
